To our overwhelming joy we are seeing an increasing movement towards POP style interiors. It’s very fresh and very new but is a difficult skill to master. This interior by Life Design shows how it should be done. They have combined POP elements with traditional materials, retaining a calm minimalist feel which bubbles away with life.

In this kitchen we see the POP palette used to perfection. Vibrant black and white stripes, zesty yellows, blues, greens and even copper accents. An eye to the back wall finishes the space with some modern art giving a nod to the inspiration for this rooms palette. Remember if you want a bespoke chandelier creation like Life Design have used here we are more than happy to help.

The challenge when using the POP palette is to provide enough vivid colour to make the space truly excite without overpowering it and removing the calm a home should provide. The use of copper lighting and accessories is a good example of how this has been achieved. Life design carefully used the vibrant copper as an accent on smaller objects while allowing the majority of the space to breath with neutral tones. The white walls, the grey cabinets, the brown floor and brick wall all help to calm the eye and provide the perfect backdrop to the bright POP accents.

Our Primatic Pendants used in hallways and stairwells View product in our store Interior design by Life Design Photography by @zacandzac
Again Life design have added calm to the overall project. Using our prismatic lights in the hallway and stairs combined with a mellow palette, creating a clean and relaxed atmosphere. The prismatic lights once turned on will provide a warm equally diffused light making the space feel comfortable and homely. Again contrasted in the above image with the more energetic kitchen area where cooking and entertaining are the priority.
