On the banks of the River Derwent in Derbyshire sits a historic cotton mill built in the 1800s. It has now been restored as a beautiful and unique wedding venue while maintaining the original industrial architecture.

In the The Cotton Quarter, the atmospheric space where the ceremonies take place, the exposed brick walls and unusual cast iron ceiling are offset by the addition of our elegant Prismatic Pendants. Providing a soft, even glow, they balance out the warehouse feel to create a charmingly rustic setting for weddings and civil ceremonies. Our Prismatic Pendants are also used in the dressing room of the bridal suite, alongside our LED Edison Pendants. These fixtures work in harmony with the classic decor to produce a peaceful area for the bride to compose herself on the big day.
In the Breakfast Room is a stylish blend of contemporary and vintage decor. The original blue brick floor and Georgian paned windows are combined with our Coolicon industrial pendants in dark grey, which are also featured in The Spinning Room, used for receptions. The smooth, powder coated finish in a muted tone presents a modern minimalism that complements the industrial architecture.

The dark grey shades reflect the cast iron columns, contrasting with the white brick walls and refined arched ceilings. The juxtaposition of old and new in this setting makes our powder coated pendants perfect for the West Mill venue as we combine classic industrial form with contemporary colours to make outstanding fixtures.
