Artifact Lighting is proud to be an environmentally conscious company. We work hard to maintain sustainability throughout our production and packing processes.

Overseas manufacturing causes significant pollution due to the importation of goods
By using local manufacturers, we are able to minimise our carbon footprint. The process of importing goods from overseas can be very harmful to the environment; however, our UK based production results in less carbon emissions, helping to reduce our impact on the planet.

By keeping a close eye on the quality of our goods during production, we can reduce our reject rate, resulting in much less waste contributing landfill sites
We also have a very low reject rate. Due to our UK based production, we are able to closely monitor the standards of our products, correcting any issues as soon as they occur. Any problems during production overseas cannot be remedied so easily, meaning that flawed products are often discarded, creating significant impact on the environment.

We have massively reduced the amount of plastic we use in our packing processes due to the vast amount of single use plastics polluting oceans
Ahead of the UK’s impending ban on single-use plastics, we have restructured our packing process. Our goal is to minimise the amount of packing material we use while ensuring that your items are still wrapped securely to prevent damage. Over 90% of our packing materials are now recyclable as we use paper as opposed to plastic. We do still use bubblewrap to protect glass products, although we are always on the lookout for an eco-friendly alternative.
